In the words of Australian television writer and producer, Rhonda Byme, “Never let a day pass without looking for the good, feeling the good within you, praising, appreciating, blessing, and being grateful. Make it your life commitment, and you will stand in utter awe of what happens in your life.”
As we enter the 2019 Holiday Season, we enter a time of reflection and thanksgiving. A time to gather with family and friends and a time to celebrate and appreciate all the good that life has to offer.
Today, we at Columbus Children’s Choir, reflect upon all the blessings that have been given to us. The blessing of wonderful singers who bring a special gift and amazing skill to each and every rehearsal and concert. The blessing of amazing parents who spend countless hours driving to and from those rehearsals and concerts. The blessing of choir directors who work hard to insure the success of every singer in their respective choirs. The blessing of talented accompanists who add so much to each and every performance. The blessing of selfless choir managers for the time and care given to keep all of our singers and families happy. The blessing of a Board of Trustees, Managing Director, and Program Manager dedicated to working countless hours behind the scenes for the betterment of our organization. Finally, the blessing of teachers for ongoing partnerships, patrons support of our programs, and donors for very generous contributions.
For these and all the blessings we have received throughout the year, we are in utter awe of each and every one of you. All of us at Columbus Children’s Choir thank you for your support and commitment to our program. Please know that we treasure you as much as you treasure this organization.
May you enjoy the blessings of this holiday season. May you find peace and comfort in the memories of those loved ones no longer with you and may you always remember to be grateful for all that you have.
