Stovetop Potpourri

- 1 tablespoon cloves,
- 3-4 star anise
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- rosemary sprig
- 1/3 cup fresh cranberries
- one clementine or slices of orange
Add ingredients to 2 cups of water on the stove!
Simmer and enjoy natural holiday fragrance
Crepes

- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 eggs
- Butter, margarine or shortening
- your choice of sweet or savory filling
Making crepes is something I’ve done with my children for many years. It’s a basic recipe but it’s the tradition, the smells, the smiles and laughter at the kitchen island that make this one of my favorites. In my home, when mom digs out her crepe pan, it’s a big deal.
No-Bake Peanut Butter Fingers

- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 3 cups crispy rice cereal
- 1 cup peanuts, dry roasted, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon shortening
Instructions
- Mix first three ingredients: Peanut butter, butter, and powdered sugar.
- Add rice crispies
- roll into log/ finger shapes
- roll in chopped peanuts
- place on tray
- melt chocolate chips and shortening together
- drizzle over cookies and wait until chocolate is firm again before storing

- 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 3/4 cup cold butter
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
Cream Cheese Layer
- 8oz cream cheese softened
- 8 oz cool whip
- 1 cup powdered sugar
Lemon Pudding Layer
- 13.6 oz lemon instant pudding
- 5 cups cold milk
Whipped Topping Layer
- 8oz cool whip
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
