Dear CCC Family,
And just like that, Holiday Pops has come to a close. As I reflect on this year’s performances, I am deeply proud of the New World Singers and the dedication they brought to every rehearsal and moment on stage. Performing under the baton of Maestro Chafetz, alongside the Columbus Symphony and Columbus Symphony Chorus, was both an honor and an inspiring way to begin the holiday season.
This year’s preparation was no small task. With only seven weeks to learn, polish, and memorize seven pieces, our singers demonstrated remarkable focus and discipline. They arrived each week ready to work, eager to improve, and fully committed to the music and to one another.
On stage, they carried themselves with confidence and professionalism. Their teamwork, musicality, and determination were evident in every phrase and made the performance truly memorable.
As you look through these photos, I hope you see what I see: young musicians who work diligently, embrace challenges, and shine with genuine artistry. As much as I am grateful to the symphony, the adult chorus, and our singers, I am also thankful to our supporters. It is only with your support that we can continue to provide young musicians with life changes experiences and to share their voices with the city and beyond.
Happy Holidays,
Jeanne M. Wohlgamuth
