We are very excited to announce the 11th annual Choral festival for middle school singers. This year we are welcoming Victor C. Johnson, prolific composer and arranger with over 350 choral works. He is highly sought after as a guest composer and clinician working with choirs and educators across the United States.
The festival, to be held on April 11th, includes an evening workshop geared toward music educators, conductors, and educating students. It’s a part of Wohlgamuth’s vision for Columbus Children’s Choir. “We want to be a resource to teachers. Music teachers are our boots on the ground and they deserve our support.”
The main portion of the festival, is a workshop for the students followed by a concert presenting their work. Throughout the day, student will rehearse and learn under the direction of Johnson. Students come from all over the state for a full day of fun and engaging rehearsal.
