Why A Mother Gives

Why A Mother Gives

There is never a day that goes by, and especially this time of year, that I don’t think of my Mother. Sadly, she passed away several years ago but her legacy of being a giving, caring Mom lives on. She taught me the importance of being supportive and giving back to a compelling cause. My Mom cared so much for others. Whether it was taking dinner or a pie to a family in need, or buying the cookies to support a special cause. She was always there.
As a Mom of two daughters, I wanted to make sure I impressed upon them the importance of giving back. Giving of their time to make a difference or making a donation to support a child in their efforts. They are now mothers who are teaching their children some of those same attributes.
There comes a time in your life when things and stuff no longer matter. Making a difference in the lives of others is what matters. By choosing to honor your Mother by making a donation to Columbus Children’s Choir, you are making the difference in the life of a child. Your donation will help to support the children who have talent, skill and the ambition to sing with the Columbus Children’s Choir. There are children whose parents simply cannot afford to provide them with this wonderful, and possibly life changing opportunity.
This Mother’s Day consider making a donation in honor of your Mother.

Happy Mother’s Day to all Moms!
