The air is filled with the scent of vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves drifting from the kitchen, where holiday desserts cool on the counter. Outside, the crisp November breeze carries the scent of fallen leaves and the comforting aroma of a cozy fire. Inside, laughter echoes as families gather, reminding us that Thanksgiving has arrived. It’s a season that invites us to pause, breathe deeply, and reflect on the many blessings that fill our lives.
I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the incredible parents and guardians who make our singers’ experiences possible. Your sacrifices, whether it’s driving to rehearsals, rearranging schedules, volunteering your time, or cheering from the audience, make all the difference. You nurture not only your child’s musical growth but also help create the supportive community that defines who we are.
To our singers, thank you for your devotion to your choir, your commitment to excellence, and your willingness to give your very best in every rehearsal and performance. Your passion, teamwork, and joy in making music together continue to inspire me every day.
I would also like to extend my deepest appreciation to our dedicated staff, choir directors, and accompanists. Your creativity, patience, and leadership guide our singers to grow not only as musicians but also as confident, compassionate individuals. The time, care, and expertise you share with our organization are invaluable, and I am profoundly grateful for all that you do.
As I reflect on the 30th season, I am reminded how truly blessed I am to be surrounded by such remarkable people: parents who give so generously, singers who bring such joy, and colleagues whose dedication makes every success possible. As you gather with loved ones this Thanksgiving, sharing stories, laughter, and memories, take a moment to appreciate the blessings around you. From our choir family to yours, may your homes be filled with warmth, laughter, and moments that remind you of what truly matters.
“Gratitude can transform common days into thanksgivings, turn routine jobs into joy, and change ordinary opportunities into blessings.”
